all around script

I can not believe I made this tattoo work. I have had people ask for a lot of writing before, but not for the chest, and not wanting it to go all around his shoulders. I would normal just do the script smaller and have more rows in the front of the body, but he was specific about it going all the way around. If you are a designer or artist you know this is easier said than done. My measurements had to be perfect. Even if I placed the tattoo a little higher or lower on his body it would not have worked. Everything worked out great but it was nerve wrecking thinking about this being off. We spent a long night at the shop doing this tattoo all in one session. He wanted there to be some detail but kind of simple, bold and big. I really like how it came out. It says ” It’s only after we lose everything, that we are free to do anything.”

My goodness, thats incredible. it really shows your skills in getting that as right as it is. The lettering is beautiful, but the placement and the symmetry and the ‘look” of it are just mind blowing – great job DD!!!

I finished this tattoo a couple months ago. I wanted to wait and get a healed photo before posting it. This was a fun one. Once again Meechie brought me a fun job and we had a great time getting this one together. Thanks Meechie.

sailor girl

I have been tattooing Luke for a while, some people just have perfect skin, and great ideas. I love that he lets me run with a concept and just go for it. This was one session and big on his arm, he likes getting it all done. He also wants to make sure to get in as much work as possible before I take my maternity leave next month. I’ve been doing a lot of fun tattoos this week on some good people, this was the first of two sailor girls I had the chance to do this week. The pin up girl will be up next week. Can’t ask for a better client. Thanks!

Seeing the world through jellyfish eyes.

This past saturday, I was fortunate enough to spend the entire day doing little jammers on some pretty chill folk. Here are a few that I got to do, thank you for looking.
