I love these tattoos, and I don’t think its a bad idea to get matching tattoos with friends and partners, but there is always the chance of things not working out. Well i’ve waited to put this post of because of that very reason. The couple that got this tattoo wanted it for their 5 year wedding anniversary, a good amount of time to be together, but unfortunately they are no longer together. I have my husbands name tattooed on me i’m all for getting the people that mean so much to you tattooed on yourself, or matching ones with out names. I guess why i’m posting this tattoo is because 1. the client didn’t mind me putting it up and 2. because i’m probably going to have to cover her’s up, even though it is a really nice tattoo. It’s hard for her to have it, and I understand. She mentioned to me shortly after the break up that she wanted to cover it, and I said NO! but only because I don’t think i’ve had to cover one of my own tattoos that I absolutely love. I would hate to have a tattoo that stood for something that was no longer a part of my life, and make a hard break up harder. So i’m posting this as a memorial to this tattoo that will be gone one day. You can’t have regrets with tattoos, you just have to figure out how to cover them up when you are over them. danielle
